WashPro Frequently Asked Questions

The questions that come up most while using the app, with short answers. If you cannot find yours, write to us from the support page.

Sign-in and account

I forgot my password, what should I do?
On the sign-in screen tap Forgot my password and type your e-mail address. If the address is registered, a reset link arrives within a few minutes; if not, check the spam folder and that you typed the address correctly. The link is single-use and valid for one hour; if it expires, request a new one from the app.
I signed in but my jobs and till are missing. Was my data deleted?
No. Data belongs to the business account; an empty screen usually means you signed in with a different account or the sync has not arrived yet. Check which e-mail is signed in under Cloud account and stay online for a minute. If it is still empty with the right account, write to support — the records are on the server.
I deleted and reinstalled the app and my settings are gone
Everything that belongs to the business (jobs, customers, services, prices, till) lives in the cloud and comes back when you sign in. Only device preferences (language, appearance, the photos on that device) are lost; photos are stored on the device, so share the important ones before deleting.

Opening a job, plates and the queue

The plate was not recognised, what now?
Fill the frame with the plate, avoid shooting into the light and move closer; a dirty or angled plate is harder to read. If it still fails, the type the plate manually link sits under the camera — reading is never required to open a job.
I denied the camera permission by mistake
On iPhone go to Settings → WashPro → Camera, on Android Settings → Apps → WashPro → Permissions → Camera. The in-app warning also takes you straight to that screen.
The same car appears twice
If a second job is opened for the same plate the app warns you; if two records were created anyway, cancel the wrong one from its job card. The same plate can legitimately have separate jobs in different branches.
How is the handover time estimated?
The app learns how long each service actually takes from past jobs and works the queue out against the branch capacity. At first it uses the durations you set in the price list; as jobs pile up the estimate moves towards reality on its own. If you open a job that will not fit before closing time, you get a warning.
Can I see a vehicle’s history when it comes back?
Yes. Tapping the plate opens past visits, total spend and the last jobs; nobody has to track which visit this is by hand. Search on the board covers plate, customer, staff and service — including plates from the past. Loyalty and campaign counting run on this same history.
Do the photos I take go to a server?
Job photos (before/after) stay on the device; only the file path is written to the cloud, never the image itself — which is why they do not show up in the web version either. Separately, to improve plate recognition a cropped image of the plate is sent: the frame is cropped to its middle vertical band (the plate is there; people are usually higher up and fall outside it). You can switch this off under Settings → Share plate images; when off, no image is prepared at all.

Telling the customer

Can the customer be told automatically when the car is ready?
Yes, and it is free. Show the QR code on the job card; on the page that opens, a customer on iPhone taps Add to Apple Wallet and a customer on Android taps Get notified. After that their phone is told when the work starts, when the car is ready and at handover. The customer installs no app and there are no message fees.
The customer added the pass once — do they have to add it again next time?
No. The pass belongs to the plate: when you open a new job for the same car the pass revives on its own and runs again from “In queue”. A customer with two cars gets two passes; the alert carries the plate, so they never mix them up.
Can I still send a WhatsApp message?
Yes. The automatic alert sits next to WhatsApp, not instead of it. You can still send the ready-made message from the job card in one tap, while the automatic alert goes out without anybody touching a phone.
How do I set up the TV board?
Open tanrikuluapps.com/washpro/pano in the television’s browser; a pairing QR appears on screen. You scan that QR with the phone and the TV is bound to that branch for good — the television shows the code, it does not scan one. The board shows plate, status and estimated handover; amounts never appear. Apple TV, Android TV or a plain browser is enough.
How do I see customers who stopped coming?
The Win-back screen learns each plate’s own rhythm and lists those who are overdue against it — not "45 days since the last visit" but "this one used to come every three weeks". The list is ordered by monthly value, most valuable first. The WhatsApp button opens the chat with a ready message; sending is always manual, the app never sends. The same customer is not suggested twice within 30 days.

Till, team and subscription

How do I get the end-of-day report?
Pick the day on the till screen, then export it as PDF or CSV from the top right and share it over WhatsApp, e-mail or any other app. Choosing a period gives you weekly and monthly reports too.
Why can my staff not see some screens?
It depends on their role. Staff see their own commission; the till, reports and settings are open to the owner and the manager. You can change the role under Settings → Team.
How do I invite a staff member to the app?
In Settings → STAFF, tap Add staff, enter their name and email: the invite code is sent to that address. For someone you added earlier, use Invite on their card. They install WashPro on their own phone, create an account and enter the code with JOIN WITH CODE. The code works once and is valid for 7 days. If the email doesn't arrive, send the code yourself with Share, for example on WhatsApp. You choose which screens they can see in the same place. If you leave the email empty, the person is added only for signatures and commission and cannot sign in.
The subscription screen appeared. Has my free trial ended?
From the moment you open your first job you get 7 days without a subscription; when the time is up the subscription screen appears. The clock starts with the first job, not with setup, so it does not run while you are not working.
It says “7 days free” but the trial did not start / I have a subscription but it asks me to subscribe
The trial is granted once per store account; if you have used it before the button reads Subscribe, which is not an error. If you do have a subscription and still see the screen, the device is signed in to a different store account or is offline; sign in with the right account and go online once.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes, the daily work runs entirely on the device: opening jobs, handover, payment, the till. It syncs to the cloud by itself when the connection returns. Only the customer alerts and the tracking page need internet.
Can I use it from a computer?
Yes. Open washpro.tanrikuluapps.com in a browser and sign in with the same account as on the phone. Same business, same data; a job opened on the phone appears on screen within seconds.
What happens if we use two devices at the same time?
Nothing breaks. Both devices connect to the same business and changes sync both ways; one can start a job and the other can hand it over. Settings → Subscription shows how many devices your plan covers.
How do I delete my account and my data?
Cloud account → Delete my account. If you are the owner of the business, every cloud record (jobs, customers, till, staff) is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered; export your reports first.
How are customer accounts (credit) tracked?
If you pick Credit as the payment method at handover, the amount does not enter the till — it is written as debt on the customer’s account. The customers screen shows who owes what, how old the oldest debt is, and the statement. Next time they come, the debt is shown at check-in and you can collect it together with that day’s amount in one go; the till records them as two separate lines.
How does inventory tracking work?
You tie a material to a service, and stock drops on its own as that service is sold. The when will it run out screen turns past consumption into a date — not "3 days left" but "18 August", because you call the supplier by date. If there is not enough data, no date is produced: a wrong date is worse than none.
Can customers request an appointment?
Yes. The customer sees nearby washes on a map, picks a time and sends an appointment request. It lands on your phone; you approve or decline in one tap and the customer is notified straight away. From a confirmed appointment, Open job starts a new job with plate, name and phone already filled in. Appointments need the cloud: this one feature does not work offline.
How is a discount applied?
A discount is entered by hand on the delivery screen, as an amount or a percentage. If you define a discount on the customer record, that definition only produces the default — what you type on the job does not flow back to the definition, and you can change it any time. The discount applies to what is left to pay after any agreement allowance, and the net never goes below zero. Discounts given show on their own line in the till and reports.
How do I record a staff salary payment?
On the staff earnings tab of the report screen you see each person’s defined salary, what has been paid that month and what is left; the Pay salary button on the row records it. A payment writes two records: money leaving the till (an expense) and a line in the salary ledger — without one of them either the day’s cash or the question "what did we pay this person" would go unanswered. Partial payments are allowed; salary is monthly and the tab shows its own month.
How do I cancel the subscription? Can I get a refund?
On iPhone: Settings → (your name) → Subscriptions → WashPro Pro → Cancel Subscription; on Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments and subscriptions. Cancelling does not cut you off before the period ends. To end a free trial free of charge, cancel at least 24 hours before its last day. Refunds are handled by the store, not by us: reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, Play Store → order history → Report a problem for Google Play. Write to us anyway and we will help with your claim.

Online payment

How does the customer pay by card?
On the delivery screen pick Online as the payment method; a QR code and a link appear. The customer scans the code with their phone or taps the link and pays with their own card. The moment the payment lands the job is handed over automatically — the handover button is never drawn before the money arrives.
Who gets the money, do you take a commission?
The money goes straight into your own PayTR or Stripe account; it never passes through Tanrikulu Apps, no balance is held and no transaction fee is charged on top. The provider's own processing fee is between you and them. Businesses in Turkey use PayTR, those outside Turkey use Stripe.
The customer paid but the job wasn't handed over — what happened?
Most likely a test-mode mismatch: if your merchant account is in test mode at the provider while the app is set to live (or the other way round), the payment is not treated as real and never reaches the till. A red line on screen explains this. Fix the mode under Settings → Payment account, then reopen the delivery screen: the link is regenerated with the current setting.

Campaigns and loyalty

How do I set up a campaign?
Open the service that should earn the reward on the Services screen and, in the Campaign section at the bottom, set how many are needed and which service is given free. The reward can be a different service — five interior and exterior washes can earn a free engine bay clean. You can also set one up from the Campaigns screen in the menu, which shows how many campaigns are running and which customers have a free service waiting. Several campaigns can run at once, and with more than one branch you can tie a campaign to a single branch or leave it valid everywhere.
How is an earned reward redeemed?
When a customer who has earned a reward arrives, you are asked at vehicle check-in and again at handover. If you accept, the job they came for goes on the board at its normal price and the free service at zero, so nothing is charged for it at checkout. Choosing later does not spend the reward; it is offered again next time. With a customer record the reward belongs to the customer and works with any of their linked vehicles; without one it is tracked by licence plate. Deactivating a campaign also invalidates rewards earned but not yet used.
How does the loyalty card work?
In the price list you set after how many washes one is free; the count runs on the vehicle history, so no punch cards. When the reward is due it is offered on the delivery screen. Campaigns are separate: the loyalty card counts washes, a campaign counts one specific service and you choose the reward. The two can be used together.

Mobile business: planning and route optimisation

I have no fixed site and go to the customer. Can I use it?
Yes. In settings pick mobile as the business type; instead of a pin, the map shows the service area you declare — with no fixed site, a pin would claim "there is a wash here". You list the provinces and districts you cover, so the customer can see whether you come to them. Each job can record the address where the vehicle was.
How is the day's route built?
Open Appointments from the menu. If your business type is mobile, this screen opens as the day's route instead of a list: the day's appointments are laid out in a timetable. Every stop shows its arrival and departure time, plus the travel time and distance from the previous stop; the day's total driving sits at the top. A job that misses its promised time is flagged in red, so you can see from the plan when the day starts to slip. In a fixed business the same menu entry opens the appointment list; there is no plan there.
What does route optimisation do?
The app reorders the stops for the shortest driving and tells you how many minutes that saves against your current order: "The suggested order saves 19 min". Tap Apply and the order changes; leave it and the plan stays as it is. The suggestion only appears when it is genuinely worth it: it is hidden when the saving is under 10 minutes, or when the new order would break more of the times you promised customers — moving an appointment for a couple of minutes is not worth offering.
Can I put a break in the route, or pin a job to a time?
Both. Add drops a break between stops; a break is not a place but a time, so travel continues from the previous stop. Tap a stop's time to pin it and the jobs below are recalculated. If a pinned time is missed, the plan is not shifted — the delay stays visible, because a plan that hides reality is useless. You can also drag stops to reorder them.
How do I set what time I leave?
Tap the time above the timetable and set your departure; the time you pick is saved and is not recalculated every time you open the app. You also choose where the route starts: From the business or My current location. The travel time and distance to the first stop are calculated from the start you chose.
What happens when I approve the plan — does the customer see anything?
The moment you approve, the jobs reach the board in the order of the timetable. The appointment status does not change, so no message is sent to the customer by itself. When you open the directions for a stop, the customer sees "our team is on the way" on their own tracking page — you do not have to press anything extra.
