Our apps keep your business data on your device first. Creating a cloud account is optional; if you create one, your data is backed up in an access-controlled area that belongs to your business alone. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Local data stays on your device. If cloud backup is enabled, data is stored on Supabase infrastructure in the European Union (Frankfurt) region, with per-business access rules (row level security). An internet connection is not required; syncing happens once you are back online.
Plate reading (OtoparkPro and WashPro) runs on-device. Unless the business turns this sharing off in settings, a small cropped image containing just the plate is sent to the same infrastructure to improve recognition; it is deleted automatically after 7 days, never shared with third parties and not used for any other purpose. The full photo of the vehicle is never sent this way.
In WashPro a business can give its customer a QR link showing the status of their vehicle. That link exposes only the plate of that vehicle, the job status and the estimated handover time; it cannot reach any other business data.
Otto's ready-made question buttons run on your device. When you type a question to Otto, and only after you allow it on your first question, your question and the information needed for the answer (e.g. revenue totals, a plate or a customer name) are sent to OpenAI's AI service without your business identity. This information is used only to produce the answer and is not used to train AI; OpenAI may keep it for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. The app does not share or sell your data anywhere else. If you do not allow it, or there is no internet connection, Otto keeps working with its ready-made questions.
AI vehicle recognition (OtoparkPro and WashPro). When you take a photo of a vehicle for Otto, and only after you allow it separately on first use, the photo (including the plate) is processed to recognise the vehicle. On iPhones that support Apple Intelligence this is first done on Apple's own infrastructure (on the device or in Apple Private Cloud Compute). On other devices the photo is sent through our server to OpenAI's AI service without your business identity. The photo is used only to read the plate, make, model, colour and class; it is not used to train AI and is not stored on our servers. OpenAI may keep it for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. Our server records only credit usage (business, amount, date). The make, model and colour you confirm are written to the vehicle's record and sync to your cloud account like your other records. To improve plate-reading accuracy, the plate text that is read and saved is kept in the app's usage records. If you do not allow it, the plate camera and manual entry keep working as before.
You keep full control of your data: you can delete your records from inside the app and close your cloud account at any time. For questions and deletion requests: [email protected]
