CourtReserve alternative: booking and till app for venues that rent by the hour
This page is for venue owners looking for an alternative to CourtReserve. CourtReserve describes itself as a club management platform for racquet and paddle sports facilities, covering bookings, payments, memberships and events, with a branded member app. ArenaPro is built for a narrower job: renting a court or pitch by the hour and running that hour from the booking to the end-of-day till. Your customers stay your customers, and the money goes to your own account.
The question that decides which one fits
The choice comes down less to a feature list than to how your club earns its money.
- If you run a membership club with leagues, ladders, lessons, coaching programmes and events, you need a club platform that covers all of that. ArenaPro does not run leagues, tournaments, lessons or coaching schedules.
- If you sell court or pitch hours to regular groups and people who phone in, the real work is filling the grid, taking the deposit, tracking who does not show up and making the till add up at the end of the day. ArenaPro is built for that, and it works on the phone in your pocket.
How a booking runs in ArenaPro
The booking is the spine: a court and an hour open the record, the tariff sets the price, and when the match ends the check-out closes it into the till with any reception items added in.
- Day grid: courts as columns, hours as rows; occupancy rate, free hours and expected revenue on top.
- Tariff per court: prices by day of week and time range for each court, with a base price for hours no rule covers.
- Regular groups: weekly matches open four weeks ahead on their own; period dues are collected and reported apart from one-off bookings.
- Deposits: recorded in the till of the day they are taken, taken once, and never more than the match total.
- No-show history: tied to the phone number, with a warning while a booking for that number is being opened.
- No double bookings: a second booking cannot be opened on the same court and hour; bookings can be moved between courts, days and hours.
- Reception sales: balls, water, racket hire; with a Bluetooth barcode reader or the phone camera, with stock.
- End-of-day till: cash, card and online on separate lines; court revenue, deposits, reception, dues and expenses apart in the report.
How customers reach you
- Booking requests: the customer sends a request from their own browser and you approve or decline it from your phone. No app to install for the customer.
- Match tracking by QR code: the customer follows the booking without an app; the team can get an Apple Wallet pass that updates when the hour changes.
- Screen at the entrance: the day's schedule on a television via a browser, Apple TV or Android TV; amounts and phone numbers never appear on it.
Pricing and payments
- Subscription: the first 7 days are free, then a monthly or annual subscription bought in the app store. In the US it is $9.99 a month or $99.90 a year (store price, October 24, 2026); other countries pay their local store price. The fee does not change with the number of courts or bookings.
- Online payments: deposits, match check-outs and reception receipts can be paid by card through a QR code. The money goes to the club's own Stripe account (or PayTR in Turkey). Tanrikulu Apps takes no share of payments; only the payment provider's own processing fee applies. No record shows as paid until the payment has landed.
Where to start when you switch
- Set up courts and tariffs. Enter indoor and outdoor courts as separate courts, each with a base price and an evening or weekend rule.
- Enter your regular groups. Each weekly group is defined once; the schedule fills four weeks ahead.
- Move the next two weeks of bookings. Starting with upcoming bookings instead of migrating history keeps the first day short.
- Compare the end-of-day till for a week. Once the till report matches the cash you count, you can drop the old setup.
Worth knowing
- ArenaPro has no leagues, tournaments, ladders, lessons or coaching schedules, and no branded member app; customers send booking requests from their own browser.
- It runs on iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets and in a web browser; it keeps working when the internet drops and syncs once the connection returns.
- 27 interface languages and more than 60 currencies.
