TV board: today's schedule on the screen at the entrance

Let the TV answer "Any free slots tonight?" This page covers setting up the board once, what appears on screen, what to do when it stops updating, and where the privacy line is drawn.

What you need

Setup: two steps

  1. Open the address on the TV. In the TV's browser, type tanrikuluapps.com/arenapro/pano. A large QR code appears on screen. (The address is also shown on the TV Board screen in the app; use "Copy address" to grab it and send it to the TV.)
  2. Scan the QR code from the app. Settings → Business → TV Board → "Scan the QR on the TV"; point your phone's camera at the code on the TV and it says "TV connected". Within seconds the TV switches to your business's board and never asks again.
Note: The TV shows the QR code, it doesn't scan it; your phone does the scanning. There is nothing to type in place of the code.

What appears on screen?

Today's schedule, court by court: on each court the hours run in two columns (daytime and evening), with the team name on booked slots and "AVAILABLE" on open ones. Slots fill up as bookings come in and open up when they're cancelled; no need to touch the screen. Fixed matches show up in place too.

Privacy: The board shows only the time and the team name. Phone numbers, amounts, deposits and till details never appear on screen.

If it isn't updating

Renewing the code and switching TVs

Renew code on the TV Board screen invalidates the old link on the TV — use it if you've got rid of the TV or the wrong device got connected. Then open the address on the new TV and scan the QR code again. Multiple screens (entrance + café) connect the same way.
