Your business badge: adding it to your website and Instagram

Every business that uses OtoparkPro and appears on the map has a badge. The badge is a link that takes drivers straight to directions to your car park: whoever taps it gets the route to you in their phone's maps, without mixing you up with a car park nearby. It goes on your website as one line of code, and on Instagram as a link and a story image. It is free, and each business gets its own badge itself.

Before you start: your location on the map

The badge is built from your business's entry on the map. For that, the branch needs a saved location in its branch settings; every car park with a location appears on the map. Details: branches, board and map.

1. Open your badge page

Go to tanrikuluapps.com/dijital-isletme/rozet/.
Choose OtoparkPro and type the first few letters of your business name.
Tap your business in the list. The page that opens is yours; you can bookmark it.

Three things are ready on the page: the code for your website, an Instagram story image and your profile link. All of them lead to the same address.

2. Add it to your website

Tap Copy code and paste it where you want the badge to appear. Most site builders have a place for this:

WordPress: add a Custom HTML block in the page editor and paste the code into it.
Wix, Squarespace and similar: add an "HTML code" or "Embed" element.
If an agency runs your site: send them the code; the footer or contact section is enough.

The badge is a small 260×64 pixel image and does not slow your site down. It reads "Get directions"; the language follows the language you opened the badge page in.

Tip: if you have a Google Business Profile, you can share the link from your badge page there. If your category has a booking link field, you can put it there too.

3. Add it to Instagram

Links in Instagram post captions are not clickable; there are two places where a link works.

Profile link: Edit profile → Links → Add external link. Paste the address you copied with Copy link on the badge page. A ready sentence for your bio is on the page too.
Story: tap Download image, share it in your story, add Instagram's Link sticker on top and paste the same address. Pin the story to your highlights and it becomes a permanent directions button on your profile instead of disappearing after 24 hours.

✦ Digital Business mark

The badge has two levels. Every business on the map gets the OtoparkPro badge. A business that completes all of the digital steps in the app gets the ✦ Digital Business mark on its badge, and the same mark shows on the map. The steps are explained on the Digital Business page.

If you earn the mark later, the badge on your site updates by itself; you do not need to change the code (it can take up to an hour to show). Your Instagram link stays the same too; if you like, download the new story image from your badge page and share it.

Common mistakes

Pasting half of the code: the code starts with <a and ends with </a>. If part is missing, the image shows but cannot be tapped.
Saving the image and uploading it to your own server: the badge works, but it will not update by itself when you earn the mark. Use the code as it is.
Sharing the story without a link: the image on its own cannot be tapped; the Link sticker is required.
