Cloud account, multiple devices and working offline

OtoparkPro works without internet; the cloud account is for backup, multiple devices, staff and the TV board. This page explains opening an account, syncing between devices and what happens when you lose internet.

Opening an account and signing in

Settings → Cloud AccountSIGN UP with e-mail + password, or Sign in with Google / Apple. If you signed up with e-mail, tap the verification link you receive. Then set up your business (business name) — or, if you are staff, join with an invite code. The records on the device are moved to the cloud with your account.

Forgot password

On the sign-in screen, Forgot password → e-mail. If the address is registered, a reset link arrives within a few minutes (check the spam folder too); the link is single-use and valid for one hour.

Multiple devices

Every device signed in with the same account sees the same business: a tablet in the booth, a phone in your pocket, the owner's phone at home. Each record change syncs a few seconds later; you can also trigger it by hand with Sync under Settings → Cloud. In a conflict, the last writer wins. The number of staff devices is limited (the owner's device does not count); you can disable and enable devices under Settings → Cloud Account → Devices.

Switching accounts

If you sign in with a different account on the same device, the app asks: move the records on the device to the new business, or discard them. If you are unsure, cancel — nothing changes. "I signed in but my vehicles are gone" is usually this: your data is still in the previous account's business.

Working without internet

Entry, exit, fee, till — all of it works on the device. When the connection returns it syncs to the cloud on its own. Subscription verification tolerates up to 3 days offline; for a longer outage you need to connect once. Plate reading already runs on the device and never needs internet.

Note: The receipt QR code and the TV board read from the cloud, so they need internet.

Duplicate records

During device/account changes the same record may have reached the cloud under two identities. The app merges duplicates on every sync; a staff device cannot delete the cloud copy (only a manager can), and once a manager syncs it is cleaned up permanently. The real record is never lost.

Deleting the account

Settings → Cloud Account → Delete my account. If you are the owner, all data in the cloud is deleted permanently (export the end-of-day report first); if you are staff, only your membership is removed. The subscription is cancelled separately from the store.
