Team and roles: adding staff, setting permissions
You add staff with an invite code; each person works in the same business from their own device. There are three roles, and each role decides what a person can see.
Adding staff
- Be signed in with your cloud account (the staff feature requires an account).
- Settings → Cloud Account → INVITE STAFF: choose the permission (staff / branch manager). The app generates a 6-digit invite code; the code is single-use and valid for 7 days. Send the code to your employee.
- The employee installs OtoparkPro on their own phone, creates their own account (e-mail or Google/Apple), taps "Have an invite code?" → enters the code and their name, then JOIN WITH CODE.
The moment they join, the business data (branches, tariffs, subscribers) downloads to their device, and every record that device makes is synced to the business account. You set which branch a staff member works at under Settings → Staff.
The three roles
- Owner: everything — branches, staff, tariffs, currency, manager PIN, account deletion.
- Branch manager: daily work + tariff editing + reports + cash totals + expenses + record deletion + fee overrides. Cannot touch business settings or staff management.
- Staff: only vehicle entry/exit and subscriber payments. Does not see cash totals, expenses, reports or tariff editing; cannot change the fee.
Manager PIN
The owner sets a PIN under Settings → Security. While the PIN is enabled, changing the fee by hand at check-out asks for the PIN; every change is written to the audit log and shown in the end-of-day report.
Person using this device
On a shared device (such as the booth tablet), if you pick Settings → Staff → Person using this device, takings are recorded under that person's name; the "who collected how much" line in the end-of-day report comes from here.
Removing staff, disabling a device
Under Settings → Cloud Account → Devices you see the devices linked to the business; disabling a device stops its sync, and that person's past records stay in place. The number of staff devices is limited (the owner's device does not count); when you reach the limit you need to disable an old device. If a person deletes their own account, only their membership is removed — the business data is not affected.
