Receipt QR code: a paperless receipt for the customer

Every vehicle record has its own QR code; when the customer scans it with their phone they see the entry time and the running fee live. This page explains how to show it and what the customer does and does not see.

Showing the QR code

  1. Tap the vehicle record on the dashboard (from the list of vehicles inside).
  2. Tap Receipt QR; a QR code on a white background opens on screen.
  3. The customer scans it with their phone camera — no app to install, it opens in the browser.

What does the customer see?

Only their own vehicle's plate, entry time and the fee running at that moment — live. Once the vehicle checks out, the page shows the final amount. No other record, plate list, revenue or till information is visible; the link opens a single record and cannot be guessed.

Note: The page reads from the cloud, so it needs internet and the record must be synced. Without an account (device-only use) the receipt QR code does not work — you need to open a cloud account.
